After having finished my BSc in Politics, International Relations and Sociology at the University of Bristol, I have decided to continue my studies at CEU and University of York, seeking to obtain the more focused skills and knowledge required in the field of public policy. From the very beginning, I was very pleasantly surprised by the importance this program puts on the practical aspects of policy making and analysis, not just on the theoretical frameworks. Mundus MAPP is truly prepared to offer the required knowledge and skills to the future practitioners in the field of public policy, in a stimulating academic environment.

Prior to arriving at CEU, I acquired experience in the civil service, through two internships at the Romanian Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sport. Having also volunteered for an NGO, I have realized that I was in need of pursuing a MA program with a more applied approach to public policy. Given my interests and aspirations to EU institutions, I have chosen the CEU-York track in European Public Policy. My research so far has been concerned with Europeanization, enlargement studies and environmental policies.

I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to apply to this program. Please do not hesitate to contact me in case you have any questions I could help you with.
