As a Bangladeshi national, who lived in Singapore for 8 years, I thrive in an international setting! I completed my Bachelors in Economics from the Singapore Management University and deep-dived into the world of governance and multilateral cooperation right after graduation.

For the past 4 years I have worked intensively in the field of bi-regional collaboration between Asia and Europe and immersed myself in the challenges and opportunities embedded in diplomacy, international relations and public policy. Through my work at the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), an intergovernmental not-for-profit organisation governed by 53 members of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), I have experienced firxst-hand the power of international cooperation between governments/countries. This is specifically in the field of Education, where we actualised the civil society concerns as vital components in the deliberations of ASEM through international projects and education opportunities.

My professional experience has rightly ignited the curiosity in me to gain further knowledge in the sphere, which makes the CEU-IBEI track of Mundus MAPP perfectly aligned with my future career goals: to continue in the intergovernmental sector with a specialisation in Global Public Policy.

CEU so far has been a fantastic melting pot of diverse yet like-minded individuals with societal concerns in their hearts and genuine drive to effect real changes! I am equally excited to see what the 2nd year at IBEI holds for us.
