Karim Knio is Lecturer in Politics at the International Institute of Social Studies. He completed his PhD in International Political Economy at the University of Birmingham, UK. His research focuses on the political economy of governance, regionalism and trade with a focus on the Euro-Mediterranean region, Industrial Relations, EU democracy promotion programs and Lebanese politics. Dr Knio is ISS’s representative in the Mundus MAPP board.
